Take back the truth!
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For Eternity is an
Ace Attorney fan game created by
in1tiate for the
PyWright case-maker engine.
This fan-made alt sequel to Dual Destinies contains spoilers for all mainline games leading up to
Ace Attorney 6: Spirit of Justice, and it's recommended that you have played all of them. The no-spoiler rule is still being observed, but in some cases that's just not possible. Please do not play this without having played games 1-6.
Currently planned are four cases, and bonus episodes containing content similar to The Great Ace Attorney's "Escapades" collection. These cases will be released all at once when they are complete, with the bonus episodes coming at a later date.
The End of an Era?
"December 20, 2027. That's the day my world fell out from under me -
again."
Join Phoenix Wright in an alternative storyline taking place one year after his greatest failure. Once again, the Turnabout Terror has hung up his badge and hidden away from the world - but mistakes have a way of coming back to haunt you, and Phoenix Wright has made more than his share of mistakes.
A Classic Adventure
Justice For Eternity is a throw-back to the classic style of Ace Attorney ADV gameplay, featuring returning elements from the originals:
- Investigation minigames
- Psyche-Locks and Perceive mechanics
- Full incidental text for every area
- Fan favorite returning characters
- A minimal amount of clowns
- Themes of corruption and conspiracy
- And more!
Dialogue has been proofread several times to hew as close to the style of official localizations as possible. It's like a brand new entry, and it might even come out before Ace Attorney 7! (But probably not. I hope.)
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When is it coming out?
A: When it's done. This is a mostly solo project that I'm working on in my spare time, and at this point I can't give a realistic prediction - nor do I want to be working under the pressure of living up to it. However, I can confidently say that the project will NOT release before the end of the year 2025.
Q: Do you have a Discord?
A: I can be reached on Discord @in1tiate. There is no official Justice For Eternity Discord server, and until further notice I have no plans to create one.
Q: Can I help?
A: No. Sorry, I'm not accepting volunteer help with any aspect of development at this time. This is a solo passion project, and that's all I want it to be.
Q: Do you need playtesters?
A: Not currently. I'll put out a call if I do need playtesters. Make sure you're subscribed on YouTube to get any updates.
Q: Is Spirit of Justice canon to this / did the events of AA6 still happen?
A: The short answer is "no." The long answer is that the factors which led to the events of AA6 are still present, in some form, and may be explored from that perspective in Justice For Eternity and potential future projects. However, keep in mind that creative license will be taken when necessary.
Q: Which bad ending is this based on?
A: The short answer is none of them. The long answer is that it is based on whatever sequence of events I need it to be in order for the scenario to work. Sorry, it might end up being a little contrived, but that's fanfic for you.
Q: Does Athena appear / is Athena playable?
A: Athena does appear in a supporting role, but is not playable in the main game. If you'd like to try a similar project which does star Athena, try out drvonkitty and ProsecutorZekrom's "
Dark Ace Saga."
Q: Who came up with the design for Prosecutor Justice?
A: The design and spritework were done by mercurialSK for the Court-Records 2013 Sprite Cup and are used - to the best of my knowledge - according to his usage guidelines.
